Hello from a newcommer....

Hi Everyone!
This is something absolutely new for me and this is my very first blog!  I am looking forward to meeting new people from all over world and I think it is really awesome that we have this platform to interact and learn from each other!!

For starters, something about myself - I am Sita Dayanadan and am 54 years old. I'm married with one daughter and have two adorable grandchildren. I am a teacher by profession and really enjoy being around children. I love reading, travelling, gardening, making friends (the list goes on!!!) to name just a few!

I am really excited about my blog and though I know that I have a lot to learn on how to go about it, I am sure its going to be fun!!!

Take care and God Bless. Till next time.........

  1. Sorry I wasn't around for a while - my daughter had come down and it was a real busy schedule with them around - you know how it is - with the little ones demanding that you be around them....but I must admit that I enjoyed every minute of my time with them....
At the end of the day, it is when you see your children happy and contended with their family that we are at peace in our old age.
I must say I wasn't so lucky with mine so I always had doubts for my daughter especially with our "well wishers" saying that "history would repeat itself".
I know that there are many like me around and wish that we can get together and exchange out thoughts and experiences so that others can learn from them and can take away something good from it.....
Hope to see you soon.....Take care!

  2. Teacher you are DIFFERENT. I have met a lot of people who at this age, start complaining and complaining. They will demotivate others. But I am very happy to have met you here. All the best for this venture. Keep blogging.

  3. Hi Rajeev
Thanks for the nice things you said about me.....
I was very taken aback by what you said.....with the selfless and dedicated work you and your team is doing, I can't imagine that anyone would have anything to complain about!!
It is really sad that people can be so thoughtless and inconsiderate.... no wonder our children are also becoming so selfish and self-centered!! What else can you expect when we, as teachers, who are supposed to be role models, forget our huge responsibility in moulding the character of our youngsters!!
